In 1986, North Shore Equestrian Centre was established by the Kinvig family. As North Shore residents themselves, they wanted to provide a place where horse enthusiasts could learn and grow while still being close to home.
Originally owned and operated by Denise Kinvig, NSEC has since been passed down to daughter, Laura Kinvig, who continues to run the stable currently.
Riding since the age of 4, Laura began showing at 7 years of age. She has since trained and shown several successful jumper and equitation horses in National competitions at Spruce Meadows, Thermal HITS California and other similar events. Laura has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and puts her skills to good use operating NSEC as well as training, teaching and helping clients meet their potential in the show circuit. She is passionate about helping people understand and communicate with their horses better.
